Middle School and Elementary Availability

Chippewa Falls Middle School:

The Voyagers programs are looking for people in the community to come and share their talents, skills or hobbies with students at the middle school level.

The programs runs each quarter from 3:45 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Examples of activities led by community members: rocketry, cooking, archery, rod building, clubs, art projects, painting, etc.

Chippewa Falls Elementary Schools:

Our elementary after-school program, Explorers, takes place at all six of the elementary scholols within the Chippewa Falls School District: Halmstad, Hillcrest, Parkview, Southview, Stillson and Jim Falls.

Explorers runs from 2:30 p.m. until 5 p.m., Monday, Tuesday and Thursday of each week.

Who we help... Elementary students come to Explorers to get additional help with what they are learning in math and reading during the day. Many of the children just need an adult to listen to read. An extra ear in Explorers can go a long way!

What we are asking of you... We would like you to share an hour of your time having the students of Explorers read to you, reading to a child, helping a student with their homework or playing a math or reading game. You can do this once, twice or three times a week, depending on your schedule.
