CVHS 9-10 Program

The Chippewa Valley High School 9-10 Program focuses on reinforcing academic skills which are essential for good academic performance and remediating credits. The goal is to transition students back to the regular high school setting better prepared to complete the rest of their high school graduation requirements. Through a combination of traditional teacher directed classes and independent classes, students are given the opportunity to reach their goals. The teachers provide a structured environment and individualized assistance when needed.

Students who enter the program must first be identified by teachers and their guidance counselor as being in need of an alternate educational setting. Parents who are concerned about their child's progress should start by contacting a guidance counselor. Be reminded that In order for students to succeed in the program, they must be committed to attend school consistently and to work hard while at school. Behavioral expectations are high - students who cannot behave respectfully toward staff and their peers may not be able to continue in the program. Students who are not taking full advantage of their opportunity to attend the 9-10 Program may be re-enrolled at the regular high school.

The CVHS 9-10 Program is located in the Northern Industries Building on the Northern Wisconsin Center campus at 2820 E Park Avenue in Chippewa Falls. The mailing address for the program is 1130 Miles Street, Chippewa Falls, WI 54729. There is a link to directions and a map below.
