I believe the internet can be addictive. There are aspects of the internet that I feel are designed to be addictive so you can stay on a certain app for a long period of time. For example Instagram, you can scroll and scroll for a long period of time and stay on it for hours. Or even TikTok, it's the same thing, you scroll through videos for hours with no end and you keep going back because the for you page is designed to fit your interests. So yes, I do think the internet is addictive. |

Is the internet addictive? How much time each day do you spend in front of a screen? Could you go ten days without the computer? What do you think about the Internet Rescue Camps in South Korea? What are the dangers of too much internet use?
I definitely think that the internet is very addictive because of the many things you can do on it from texting your friends and using social media to playing video games. I think that I spend too much time in front of screens each day but, the main reason I would say for this is because of how addictive it can be and how you can get lost on a screen and spend hours on it without knowing. I think I could go ten days without using a computer or my phone but, I think I would need something to keep me occupied and always have something to do so I wouldn't feel bored or have the urge to go on the internet. I think the Internet Rescue Camps in South Korea are an interesting thing that probably has some ups and downs about it but, overall I think it could have some positive effects for the people and kids who go to it. I think the dangers of too much internet use really show up long term. Because the more you miss things like social gatherings or skip out on the opportunity to do something besides being on the internet will hurt your relationship and thoughts of getting off the internet and going out to do something with friends or family. So I think the dangers aren't too bad if you realize the problem and try to fix it and improve on it yourself. |

I think the internet can be addictive. Most people spend more time on electronics than they do with other people. They spend most of the day on an electronic if not all day. I spend around 3-4 hours on electronics each day, mostly on my phone. I could go without my computer for 10 days especially right now then I would have an excuse to not do my homework. |

I think the internet can be addictive. If you find something interesting you can keep going and going and not even know how long you have on the internet. Several hours can go by and you don't even know it. If you are using it for school and work you have to use it for certain things. |

I myself don't spend a lot of time on my phone or Playstation unless i don't have anything else to do. For example i will play on it if it's raining out because I can't go outside and do anything. But for some people they don't have much of a life outside of videogames and it's not good for them. It's not very good to sit infront of a screen for hours and never get up or go outside. |

I think the internet can be addicting depending on how you use it. If you are using it for work or school purposes then it is not bad. Then if you are just watching Youtube or playing games it can become and addiction. |

I most definitely believe that the internet is addictive. Anything can become addictive. I don't spend a lot of time in front of a screen, but I used to spend upwards of four hours per night after getting home from school. Now, I could go without the computer for ten days, and I find it sad that those camps in South Korea are even necessary. We have everything that humans have taken so long to create if internet becomes any more of a problem in society: respect, face-to-face conversations, not hiding behind a facade. |
