It is our goal, as Chippewa Falls Area School District Secondary Art Instructors, all students after visual arts classes will:
Art and Design Knowing:
SMART Goal #1: Understand that art is a universal language; be able to reveal components of a work of art; elements, principles, content, meaning and cultural relativity.
Measuring/Evidence: Oral critique, written/essay critique, classroom discussion
Time Frame: Six-Week/Semester Visual Arts Course
Attainable and a core component of the Wisconsin Visual Arts Standards Grade 6-12
CFSD Strategic Plan: Respect and Tolerance of Others / Communication / Educational Trends
Art and Design Doing:
SMART Goal #2: Apply the elements and principles of art and design in art production.
Measuring/Evidence: Project Rubrics, Reflection, and Projects
Time Frame: Six-Week/Semester Visual Arts Course

Art and Design Communicating:
SMART Goal #3: Produce images and objects effectively communicating and expressing ideas, using varied media (including current technology), styles and techniques.
