Introduction to Calculus
Intro Calculus is a final preparatory course for the study of Calculus. Much of the course is a continuation of topics begun in Accelerated Algebra 2 and Accelerated Trigonometry with major emphasis placed on the studyy of functions. Additionally, topics from Analytic Geometry are integrated at appropriate places.
The assignments shown below are always due the following class period that is not a test day. If you miss a class period you should always read the section you missed and follow through any examples given in that section to complete the assignment. If you need help you should come in before school, during lunch, or go to the Math Lab during a study hall. Do not procrastinate getting help or getting your assignments done. In math, the longer you wait to get help, the farther you will fall behind, and the harder it will be to catch up. Be proactive, you have many opportunities to get help from me or others in the Math department.
Tests are spiral and should be made up either before an absence(if you know you will be gone) or on the following school day before the first section of algebra. Other arrangements can be made if you make the effort to talk to me in the morning between 8:00 and 8:30 am.
