Welcome to the webpage for the 2012-2013 Athena Club! 

Athena is a service and social organization open to junior and senior girls at Chi Hi who maintain a GPA of 3.4 or higher.  New members are initiated at a ceremony on November 8, 2012.  Questions regarding eligibility or membership can be directed to Mrs. Kris Kolinski in room 205.  Current members should also check their school email regularly, as the advisors will be sending group information through emails. (If you don't routinely check your school email address, please set it up to forward to the email address that you DO check--thanks!)

2013 Athena Scholarships  All submissions will be electronic and due by April 26,  at 4:00 p.m.  Recipients will be announced at the senior awards night (May 22 at 7:00 p.m.).  Scholarship forms will be available on this website, via the Facebook group, and outside of room 205. 

Spring upcoming meetings & events:

Friday, May 17, Whole Club meeting--JUNIOR members only. Room 205, lunch A.

--Pick up and turn in officer nomination forms for next year

--Sign up for summer volunteer opportunities (Boys & Girls Club, Ladies' Extravaganza in Sept.)

--Brainstorm ideas for next year: social activities, volunteer opportunities, fundraising ideas.

All junior members will vote for officers for the 2013-2014 school year

Officers meet the Wed. before each whole club meeting during lunch A in room 205.

Volunteer updates:

 Puppy Chow fundraiser:

                           Volunteers needed for the next Tuesday, April 30,  to prepare puppy chow (before school, during lunch, or during study hall 

                           per. 1 or 7 in room 205.

                           Volunteers also needed to sell puppy chow between 2nd and 3rd / between 3rd and 4th hours.  Sign up with Mrs. Kolinski if you      can help.

**ALL PROCEEDS FROM PUPPY CHOW SALES GO TO THE ATHENA SCHOLARSHIP FUND.***
