Hello! I am Shannon Larson the new Family Support and Resource Coordinator for the Chippewa Falls School District. I work with families, children and school personnel at all of the elementary schools and primarily work out of Parkview, Halmstad and Southview. Examples of some of the things that I may be able to assist with include:

Providing emotional support

Connecting with other community agencies

Developing ways to promote regular attendance

Obtaining and providing parenting support and resources

Mediating between home and school

Consulting on a variety of issues

Finding day care

Locating housing, clothing, food and employment options

Obtaining medical insurance and vision and dental care
I often meet with families in their home or at school whichever is comfortable for you. Together we can identify your strengths and locate resources to find solutions to just about any problem! I can be reached throughout the week at Parkview Elementary at 715-720-3750 ext 4576. I will check my voicemail often as I am frequently at Halmstad and Southview or attending meetings.
