Featured Web Tool - Wordle.net

This is a fun way to summarize a piece of written text.  It is also fun and useful to paste a piece of writing to see if any words are over used. 

When students are writing autobiographies or personal narratives this can be a fun way to end the assignment.  Important or frequently used names, events or things are highlighted.

If you plan on using this with your students.  Please provide them with the link. www.wordle.net/create.  This bypasses the opening screen and avoids the random wordle from the gallery showing, in case it is not age appropriate.
