Please call your child(ren) in absent when they do not attend school.  For longer absences it is recommended that a doctor notice be sent/brought to his/her grade level office.  When students are absent please use this website, specifically the Teacher Lesson Plans link on the left, to find out what your child(ren) has/have to complete for work.  Our teachers update their plans regularly to make it easier for all to know what is taking place at Chippewa Falls Middle School.

Students can enter the building at 8:05 am for breakfast.

For the safety and security of the building and all students, it is requested that all visitors sign in at the reception desk.  Upon signing in, all visitors are agreeing to:  document time in; wear an identification badge while in the building; go only to and from the area needed; return the identification badge; document time out and leave the building as soon as official school business is complete.

We hold lost and found clothing in our laundry room by the gyms.  We also have a drawer of clothing and miscellaneous items at the reception area.  Please have your child double check in these areas to see if that missing item can't become found again.

Applications are available at the Middle School office as well as any other school office or the administration building.  Applications can be submitted at anytime during the year and in most cases, if eligible, the family will qualify through the end of the current school year.

Chippewa Falls Middle School is happy to be offering Weekend Kid’s Meals. This program is offered through Feed My People Food Bank.

Parents, much of our communication from teachers and staff at the Middle School is done via email.  Please be sure to keep the school informed and up to date with email addresses, phone numbers, home addresses, etc. to ensure you have the latest information regarding your child's education.

President's Awards

The President's Awards for Educational Achievement and Educational Excellence are given at the end of the school year during the 8th Grade Awards Ceremony.  In the Chippewa Falls Area Unified School District, a student is eligible for an award if he/she has earned a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher during his/her middle school career and scored in the 75th percentile or higher in reading and/or math on the state assessment.  What differentiates the Achievement award from the Excellence award is that those who earn the Excellence award score in the 85th percentile or higher in math and/or reading on the state assessment.  For questions, please contact assistant principal, Mr. DesJarlais at
