Welcome to the Community Conversation for Educational Excellence Website
On February 6th, 7th and 8th over 140 community members, parents, business leaders and school district staff gathered to discuss strategies that will help shape the future of education in the Chippewa Falls Area Unified School District. The purpose of the event was to actively engage the community in developing a clear, shared strategic vision that will address the evolving needs of our students for a changing tomorrow.
What is the Community Conversation for Excellence?
An event to help shape the future of education in the Chippewa Falls Area Unified School District. This three day event, hosted by the Board of Education, involved community members, parents, students, teachers, business, government, senior citizens, and other stakeholders sharing important ideas on the future of our school district and community.
The goals of the Community Conversation were to:
Provide an opportunity for citizens to participate in a process of thinking and planning for our future.
The issues and trends that are impacting our schools and community.
Identification of attributes and skills that every CFAUSD graduate should have to prepare them for a changing tomorrow.
Identify ways that the Chippewa Falls Area Unified School District can be effective in creating a learning environment that will enable our children to thrive in the future.
Thank you to the over 140 individuals representing various stakeholders groups who attended the conference February 6th, 7th and 8th 2014 at the Avalon Hotel and Conference Center.
