Welcome to Chi-Hi!  Here at Chi-Hi we want our students to achieve academic success, grow socially and emotionally, and prepare themselves for future endeavors.  There are endless opportunities for our students, and it is our goal that students who attend Chi-Hi experience a quality education.  We want students to be prepared whether it is to enter college, technical college and/or the workforce.  Our students will have the skills and ability to serve their community and establish positive working relationships.    

Chi-Hi is committed to providing a quality education to our students that offers the foundation needed to be successful post-secondary.  We have an environment that emphasizes the importance of demonstrating respect, responsibility, honesty, perseverance, compassion, self-discipline, and many other core values.  Chi-Hi is also committed to providing a learning environment that is safe and enjoyable for ALL students. 

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND/WORK EXPERIENCE

Before coming to Chippewa Falls, I was the district administrator and high school principal in Elmwood, WI.  In addition, in 2007-2008, I was the PK-8 building principal and assistant high school principal in Elmwood.  Prior administrative positions include 6-8 middle school principal at Notre Dame M.S. for the Chippewa Area Catholic Schools and PK-8 building principal for Holy Family Catholic Schools in Arcadia, WI.  I taught physical education and adaptive physical education and coached in Cornell, WI and Northfield, MN. 

DEGREES

I have a master degree (Master of Science in Education) from UW-Superior in Educational Administration.  I have completed post-master studies at Winona State University to complete my Superintendent’s licensure, and continue to work towards completing my Educational Specialist (Ed. S.) degree at WSU.  I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis on PK-12 Physical Education and minors in Adaptive Physical Education and Coaching. 

FAMILY

I have a wonderful wife, Ann, and together we have three children.

HOBBIES

I enjoy being outdoors, gardening, and traveling, hunting/fishing, and spending time with my family and friends.
