Grade 9 - Freshman Success
School Counselors present in Teacher Advisory. Topics include graduation requirements, study strategies, transcripts, class rank and grade point average.
Grade 10 - Sophomore Conferences
School Counselors meet with sophomores and their parents to discuss progress toward graduation, junior and senior year course selections, and post-secondary plans. These conferences are scheduled November - March. The Sophomore Guide is included in this meeting.
Grade 11 - Just for Juniors
School Counselors present Just for Juniors during Teacher Advisory. Topics include resources for post-secondary planning, Direct Admit Wisconsin, technical college applications, and information on the ASVAB.
Grade 12 - Senior Meetings
School Counselors meet with seniors in their Teacher Advisory to review information needed for post-secondary planning. Information is given regarding the college application process, scholarships and financial aid. How to meet with military and college recruiters is also discussed. An individual follow-up meeting is scheduled so the school counselors can help students with their individual plan.
