Welcome to Mrs. Dorney's 5th grade classroom!

I am in my 15th year of teaching 5th grade at Stillson Elementary. I graduated with an elementary (grades 1-6) and special education degree (grades 1-12 EBD and LD) from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Teaching is definitely one of my passions in life. I enjoy each student for their unique personality and gifts. And as a teacher, I believe in educating students in all aspects of their life.

A little about me... I grew up in Chippewa Falls, and Stillson was the school I went to as a kid. When I'm not at school, I enjoy spending time with my husband and three kids. We enjoy hiking, being involved at church, and playing games. I look forward to building a partnership with parents, colleagues, and community members to ensure the success for all students. I am a lifelong learner, reflecting on past and present experiences on a daily basis.
