Be Responsible

With quiet/whisper voices:
-Quietly bring all materials into the classroom
-Select your lunch and morning milk choices
-Open your assignment notebook and place it on the top of your desk
-Hand any homework into the proper homework basket
-Place any notes, signed tests, papers needed to be returned to the office, etc. into our classroom mailbox
-Sharpen your pencils and get any needed change from the classroom banker
-Take your seat and begin working on any morning work that is assigned
-Be on task

With voices off unless called on after raising your hand:
-Have needed materials with you
-Use attentive listening skills to focus/think about what the speaker is saying, showing, or teaching you
-Raise your hand and ask questions if you are confused or not understanding something

With quiet/whisper voices unless told “No” voices:
-Have needed materials with you
-Work quietly in your designated area
-Be on task
-Raise your hand and ask questions if you are confused and not understanding the topic we are working on. While waiting, move on to the next question or problem
-Refer to the Assignment Board or What Should I Do Next sign when completed with the task/activity
