Description: The PAS Program is the main program at CVHS and serves around 60 students. This program serves students who have a reasonable chance of making on-time graduation a reality through consistent attendance, significant effort, and positive behavior.
* Students in the PAS Program will have the opportunity for a modified day (8:35-1:55), but may be required to attend for a full day (8:35-3:25) if attendance is inconsistent or effort/progress are not acceptable.
REFERRAL/ENROLLMENT
Students are typically referred to the PAS Program by the counselors at Chi-Hi. It is important to understand that students are never forced to attend the PAS Program - rather they are given the opportunity to attend. It should also be understood that students cannot simply choose to enroll in the PAS Program - their enrollment has to be approved based on a joint decision between the counselors and principals at Chi-Hi and the principal at Chippewa Valley High School. In order for the PAS Program to function successfully, the students in the program have to be motivated to take advantage of the program. The referral process is important to make sure students are a good fit for the program. Parents/guardians interested in having their student placed in the PAS Program should start by talking to the student's counselor.
LOCATION
The PAS Program is located in Northern Industries Building on the Northern Wisconsin Center campus at 2820 E Park Avenue in Chippewa Falls. The mailing address for the program is 1130 Miles Street, Chippewa Falls, WI 54729. There is a link to directions and a map below.
